Simple First Steps

  • 1. Reach out via email or phone call to inquire about counseling services

Reach out to me by phone, email, or through the contact buttons on this site. It’s important to me that we have the chance to make a connection to help decide if we’re a good fit together; therefore, I offer a 15 minute no obligation phone consultation for that reason if you desire. If you decide you’d like to schedule a session, we’ll set a time for your first appointment either in person at my office in Tomball or via telehealth.

  • 2. Complete online counseling paperwork

Before your first therapy session, you’ll receive an invitation to the user-friendly client portal. In that secure online platform, you will conveniently fill out and e-sign the necessary counseling documents. By completing these in advance, we can make the most of our time in session together. This is all you need to do to prepare for your first counseling appointment; we will be set and ready to approach your counseling goals.

  • 3. Meet for your first therapy appointment

It’s typical to feel a bit nervous about starting something new, and getting started in counseling is no different. I understand that in coming to the first session you may feel a combination of angst and hope. We’ll discuss what you hope to achieve from therapy, and I’ll ask questions to begin the process of getting to know your story. Together, we’ll identify your goals and collaborate on the direction we’ll take in future counseling sessions.
